If you would like to send some letters or packages to the girl in the little black dress as she ministers at camp this summer, please use the address above.
It's the end of June, so don't forget to donate! Let's pass the $2000 mark this month!
It is almost the end of what has been a sweet, blissful June, so I am proclaiming this summer day to be a day of giving. But not giving like we've asked for before.
Please give your prayers today.
If only for two second, two minutes, or two hours, please pray for RHO. It is as rich a gift as any amount you could donate.
Tatiana is officially off at Shiloh Bible Camp serving her heart out and summer away. In her absence, the blog will be run by me (Bella), and I will do my best to minister to her readers, cultivate support for the orphans, and answer any and all questions.
Life was full of packing, and finals, and meetings, and appointments, and graduation this week. Pretty much everything horrible.
But it's summer now. I'm graduated. And leaving for Washington after church tomorrow.
More time to pray, and love, and make plans!
Tell me this isn't the perfect time to make a donation to RHO children!
My prayer today is that there would be much movement for the children of Redeemer House and for this project that we are doing. If you would like to be a part of it, please do! We've got lots of ways for you to do it.
by praying!
by donating to The LBD Project.
or becoming a sponsor.(share the news with friends, on your blogs, or at your church!)
Please please consider giving to the children in any way possible.
Things are changing here. My everything important is being packed into boxes and my backpack for a summer at camp. It will be unpacked in 8 more weeks and packed again in 10. This is my life right now, and i kind of really like it. I might actually love it.
My backpack is packed(almost, not really..), but it's not to go see my little loves in Africa yet. I'm moving up to Washington next Monday for two months to be an intern at summer camp. I can't promise posts everyday, but i will try my heart out to be as frequent as possible! I will be faithfully running around in my LBD learning what it takes to run a camp.
In the mean time, please please consider donating to the children of Redeemer House!
Lots of prayers have been going out for the children of Uganda & I have been so blessed by the comments you all have been leaving. With donations back up and running, my prayers are for giving hearts to bless the Redeemer House children for the month of June. If that's you, and you would like to share some love,
"I'm going to finish no matter what."
I spoke those words two weeks ago when i was talking with my mom about donations. Almost two months had passed, but i knew we had to take things on faith. And i am so happy to say we are back and ready for some love! You can donate to the children by following the directions on the "give" page.
I am so excited to announce that we are back! You can head on over to Redeemer House's new website by clicking above. It's time to give all that love you've been bottling up!
I spent tonight at church listening to stories from Uganda. Some of my church family went and spent time with Agape Children's Village these past few months. They brought back pictures, and stories, and baskets that the Ugandan woman made. And their lives were changed. One of the men that went to Africa stood up tonight and said that
"God can use anyone. I'm seventy-five, and God used me."
I don't know what could be more clear and perfect than that.
I hope all of you are having a great weekend. I spent my morning teaching sunday school to three year olds for the last time for months. I'm leaving to intern at summer camp in two weeks, so i'm cherishing every minute i have with my family and friends here. Packing is starting to take flight and summer is starting to feel real. Happy sunday to you!
